How is my handicap calculated?
Birdio uses a WHS-style method: it takes your score differentials from recent rounds and averages your best ones into an index that updates every time you save a card. It's designed to mirror the real system, capped sensibly for beginners.
Does it work for minigolf and par-3?
Yes. Birdio handles full 18, quick 9, par-3 courses and minigolf. Each format keeps its own context so your stats and handicap stay meaningful.
Is my data private?
Completely. Birdio has no servers and collects no data. Everything is computed and stored on your device. With iCloud backup on, an encrypted copy lives in your personal iCloud — readable only by your Apple ID.
Does Birdio work offline?
Fully. Score a round in the middle of nowhere with no signal — nothing needs the internet except optional iCloud backup and App Store purchases.
How do I cancel Pro?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone, select Birdio, and tap Cancel. You keep Pro features until the end of the paid period.
