Questions, answered
Where are my documents stored?
Locally on your iPhone, protected by Apple's hardware encryption and your passcode or biometrics. If you turn on iCloud backup, an encrypted copy lives in your personal iCloud — readable only by devices signed into your Apple ID.
Can anyone at Risu see my documents?
No. Risu has no servers and collects no data. Scanning and text recognition happen entirely on your device. We couldn't peek even if we wanted to — and Risu is very good at keeping secrets.
What happens if I delete the app?
All local data is permanently deleted with the app. If iCloud backup was enabled, you can restore everything when you reinstall on any device using the same Apple ID.
Does Risu work offline?
Completely. Nothing in Risu needs the internet except optional iCloud backup and App Store purchases.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone, select Risu, and tap Cancel. You keep premium features until the end of the paid period.
